Agreement

By creating an account, buying access, or using www.lostartofgrowing.com, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The service is operated by Lost Leaf Consulting, LLC, doing business as Lost Art of Growing, based in Michigan, USA. Contact: lostleafmi@gmail.com.

The service

Lost Art of Growing is a toolset for growers mixing hydroponic nutrients. Paid Grower Access includes:

• the Nutrient Replication Calculator, and
• the Feeding Scheduler

You need an account and a qualifying purchase (or an unexpired single-month period) to use the paid tools. We may change, add, or remove features as we improve the site. Grow Guides, if shown as coming soon, are not part of Grower Access until we say otherwise on Pricing.

Your account

Accounts are created and signed in through Clerk. You are responsible for the email and password (or other sign-in method) you use, and for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Email us at lostleafmi@gmail.com if you think someone else is using your account.

Pricing and payment

Current Grower Access prices are listed on Pricing. As of the effective date:

• $50 / month — renews monthly. Card or PayPal. Cancel anytime.
• $500 / year — save $100 versus paying monthly all year. Renews yearly. Card or PayPal. Cancel anytime.
• $50 single month — one-time payment for 30 days of access. Does not renew or auto-charge. Card or one-time PayPal. Single month is not a PayPal subscription; no billing agreement is kept on file for it.

Card payments are processed by Authorize.net. PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Card details are entered on Authorize.net's hosted form and do not touch our servers.

Prices are in US dollars. By completing checkout you authorize the charge for the option you chose, and — for monthly and yearly — the recurring renewals at the then-current rate for that plan until you cancel (or until an affiliate discount applies, as described below).

Custom Hydro affiliate discount

If you buy inputs through our Custom Hydro links and that purchase is confirmed, your next monthly renewal drops to $45, and you have a 30-day window to start or switch to yearly at $475 (5% off the $500 yearly price). Single month is never discounted. Clicking a link does not earn the discount by itself. After the 30-day window, monthly renewals return to $50 and yearly returns to $500 unless another confirmed Custom Hydro purchase opens a new window.

Switching plans

Switching between monthly and yearly means buying the interval you want from the pricing page. The new subscription replaces the old one: we cancel the previous plan when the new one is set up so you are not billed for both. Your new billing period starts the day you switch. The remainder of the period you already paid for is not refunded or prorated.

Cancellation, access, and refunds

You can cancel a monthly or yearly subscription anytime. Canceling stops future renewals. Access continues through the period you have already paid for. There are no refunds for partial periods.

A single month is not a subscription. It ends after 30 days. Nothing renews or charges again unless you come back and buy another month or start a monthly or yearly plan.

Saved data after a single month

Saved formulations, feeding schedules, and feeding regimens are deleted from our database 30 days after a single-month period ends, unless you sign up for a subscription or purchase another month before then. If you want to keep that work, buy access again before the 30 days run out.

Accuracy and limitations

This tool estimates a recipe from the nutrient percentages and dosage rates you enter. Results are a practical replication target, not a certified lab analysis or guarantee of the same EC or ppm as a commercial product or manufacturer chart. Guaranteed analysis labels themselves have a small margin of error allowed. Salt grade, water, temperature and meter calibration all affect the final mix. Always double check amounts before mixing. Incorrect doses can harm plants.

The site is not medical advice and makes no claims about human health. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to what you grow and how you grow it where you live.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• share your paid login so others can skip paying
• try to break, scrape, or overload the site
• use the service for anything illegal
• copy the calculator, scheduler, or other paid tools to resell or republish them

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being abused.

Your content

You keep whatever rights you have in the formulations and schedules you enter. You give us permission to store and display that data so the product can work for you. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep it.

Our content

The site, name, logo, and tools are ours (or used with permission). Buying Grower Access gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the paid tools during the period you paid for. It does not transfer ownership of the software or content.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as-is. We work to keep it available and useful, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free results, or that a mix will match a commercial product or a particular harvest. Growing outcomes depend on many things we do not control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Lost Leaf Consulting, LLC and Lost Art of Growing are not liable for crop loss, plant damage, lost profits, or other indirect or consequential damages from your use of the calculator, scheduler, or site. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for Grower Access in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court would not enforce a part of these terms, the rest still applies.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using the service after that date, the updated terms apply. For a material change, we will post the new terms on this page.
